What are the rules regarding hair for men? In terms of style, length and colour.

For example is dyed grey/ white acceptable? Or braids for men

    Hi Leon,


    Mens hair in whilst in Training need to be off the collar and tend to be short and tidy.

    Once out of training this allows for some more flexibility. that being said, hair must be your natural colour and no braids unfortunately.

    is dyed hair allowed as long as it’s a naturally occurring colour such as black, brown or blonde?

    Day to day on barracks wouldn't be much of an issue as you can keep it the same as your Identity card. This being said, if you were to deploy for several months at a time and the dye reverted back to a different colour as show on your Military ID this could then lead to potential issues.
