Morning Jack
For The Parachute regiment you will need 20/40 or better hope this helps
Kinds Regards
Hello Jack. In addition to the above I will add,
During the process of your application you will be asked for your opticians records. Your records will be assessed on a case by case basis based on vision, colour perception and other criteria. If you apply, and when our medical team has assessed your records, we will be able to tell you weather your eyesight is acceptable or not. If not, then there may be another job open to you if you don't meet the requirements for the parachute regiment.
Thanks
What are the requirements for lens power and astigmatism (sph and cyl)
Hello
Sorry Jack but i don't know. My best advice would be to start an application and the army medical team will be able to tell you weather or not your eyesight is permissible. You may withdraw an application at any point so you shouldn't feel any pressure to enlist, if though the application process, you feel the army isn't for you.
