Hi again Alain, at AFC(H) junior soldiers learn the fundamental military basics - how to live and operate in the field, basic field craft, basic first aid. YOu learn weapon handling, how to operate personal radios etc - all the military things you can think of. You also do a lot of classroom based lessons; maths, english, ICT. You learn about leadership and team work and you also get to do some Adventurous Training whilst there to take you out of your comfort zone and maybe learn a new skill or something about yourself. At AFC(H) they also do what looks like a careers fair (like you have at school) but to sign up to all different types of sport clubs, or just clubs in general. There's a huge amount of opportunity at AFC(H).
