However the Army has strict rules on policy regarding any form of surgery as it will often require the individual to take time of work for recovery etc. I would not be able to give you a direct answer as only the medical team would be able to do so. If you have the treatment before joining this will show up on your medical records and may affect your chances of joining, but ultimately it is your decision to make.
