want to be a mechanic but know little about how to fix cars, do I need qualifications or will i be taught everything?

You will require GCSE A-D in English, Maths and Science initially. You will be taught everything you need to know once you get to the School Of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering for your trade training. On completion of your training you will receive a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Engineering Maintenance and your category B, C and C+E driving licences.
