This is for a public services assignment in hierarchy, I would also like to know the consequences of not following instructions and not following service routine
Hi Arthur,
Initial training (also known as Phase 1 or basic training) is where you'll learn to become a soldier. You'll be taught about what it means to be a soldier and how the Army works as well as learning survival and field-craft skills, first aid, and how to use a rifle. Plus you'll work on your health and fitness levels.
I would suggest watching civilian to soldier series on YouTube, created by Dan Russell this will give you a greater visual insight to the types of training and activities you will go through as a training soldier.
I hope this can answer your question
Carl
