Transfering base during 4 para training
I am considering 4 para (reserves parachute regiment) and I'm currently at university so was wondering if I could transfer base for training when I go back home for summer.

Hi there
So traditionally the summer camp is the main event you would have to undertake and would usually be away from camp anyhow.
Some reserve units do allow you to do drill nights at another unit but this would be in agreement with the Chain of Command. It would be worth contacting them to ask As it’s impossible for me to predict what they would do. I do know that a few years ago they had a soldier who lived in New York and they found a way to make that work. So they are pretty open minded.
