I enquired about the Navy, and that's 9 months. What's the usual timescale with the Army please

    Hi Sam, joining as a Regular Soldier is typically 6-9 months.

    The application time frame varies for each individual, this depends on Job choice and area of the army you would like to join, it can be between 6-9 months job choice dependant

    Remember this is the average and it can be quicker for some people, it depends how available people are, how prepared they are and how quickly we have information returned.

    It depends on your circumstances, what you want to join, your medical history too, but it can be quite a long process, sorry, it is really worth the wait though!
