This is regarding speech impediment for combat roles

Anonymous asked a question to James S.

Can someone who has a mild to moderate speech impediment go for combat roles like royal marines, parachute regiment and special forces(sas/sbs)? There is no such problem in speaking 3-4 words of phrases clearly and if I am able to manage in between combat communication with 3-4 phrases of words.

Isn't the conmunication in combat operations mostly brevity and short phrases? As I can already speak 3-4 words short phrases clearly even before taking speech therapy.
