The army website says that a chronic ear issue can stop you joining, does anyone have experience with this stopping you
Chronic ear issues include things like cholesteatoma.

Hi there,
As you will have no doubt seen cholesteatoma is listed as one of the conditions that may delay or exclude you application. You can still apply to join the army even if your medical history includes this as your application will be assessed on its own merits against medical standards for entry.
