Solider to Officer

If I wanted to become an officer, how long would I serve? I want to do a career as a solider and then commission. I have the basic requirement for Officer. My intake is coming up, im 27 would this be possible? Given my age? And if I show aptitude is there a chance that I could get a age waiver

The cut off age for a Direct Entry Officer is 29. There are exceptions, but these are case by case.

Once you're out of training, you can speak to your Career Manager about commissioning. This is quite common, and they'll have all the details you need. In short: you'll need to sit a selection board which will make sure you're right for the part before your Officer training starts.

I hope that helps to answer your question.
