Hello,
Everybody who joins the Army has to go through Basic Training, soldiers then have to go through Initial Trade Training. This will differ from other training you've received as it prepares you to work in the British Army. Having completed external qualifications may put you ahead and see you progress ahead of your peers, but it wouldn't exclude you from completing your trade training.
