Joining the Reserves as a driver you would need to hold your drivers license already due to the nature of the Army Reserves. If you were to join the Regular army you can still be a driver without holding your driving license as time is put aside after 14 wks basic training to do driving courses - unfortunately this is just not the case for the Army Reserves. Basic training is more modula (to allow people who have full time jobs to be able to commit to the Army Reserves) and therefore the Reserves would require those who can already drive. I hope this helps.
