Roles that don’t involve deployment
Are there any roles that do not involve any deployment? I know the army takes all arms on deck if soldiers are required if there was a war or specifically needed elsewhere, but I wondered if there were any HR roles or anything different that would be an exception to this?

Hi there,
Everyone on the army, regardless of trade or corps is a soldier first and can be expected to deploy and fight. That being said there are definitely roles where the chances of this are less. Take a look at the role finder to see if any take your fancy that are not combat roles.
Alternatively there are ways to still work in the Ministry of Defence and not deploy. The Army could not function without the civil servants that work with us. They might also be worth taking a look.
