    Hello Aaron,

To gain an apprenticeship with the Army you need to join as a Soldier. You will work toward your relative industry apprenticeship alongside your main job when you start your trade training.

Unfortunately, to join as a plumber, you need GCSE Grade A–C/9-5 or Scottish National 5 grade A-C, in Maths and GCSE Grade A–C/9-4, or Scottish National 5 grade A-C, in English Language and one other subject. Without these qualifications you will not be accepted. Your experience will help, but it won't be taken into consideration when applying because no matter what your role is you'll be trained from scratch to operate in a combat environment.

Roles within the Royal Engineers that don't require any formal qualifications:

Become an Armoured Engineer with Royal Engineers | Army Jobs

    Driver- Royal Engineers

Digital Communication Technician | Army Jobs

There isn't really much else that is related to plumbing, but this job may interest you: Serve as a Petroleum Operator - Logistics Corps | Army Jobs
