Hello,
After basic training you will first of all receive a pay increase from about 19,000 up to 23,496 pounds a year. You will also have access to all the benefits of army life during your trade training, including financially subsidised food and accommodation. In addition, the amount of time and freedoms you will have will increase along with the additional responsibility.
