I am about to graduate from university as an occupational therapist and I am considering joining the reserves. I know there are opportunities for other healthcare areas and wondered if I could use my degree to help when applying for a certain area?
This would be dependant on what field you was looking at going into. Occupational therapy does not directly relate to a job within the regular army so you still need to meet the reservist requirements for the specific job role you are after. If you look on the Army jobs site and type in your postcode after clicking on reservist roles, it will bring up centres that are closest to you. Unless you are applying for a national role in which case you should talk to your reservist recruiter or contact your local reserve centre to find out more.
