need some advice. I don’t know whether to go to uni and do midwifery or go to army and do combat medical technician.
I am 16 years and 11 months old and I’m currently at collage studying higher health and social care and Higher English.

Hello Charlene,
It may be worth getting in touch with your local Army Career Centre (I'll leave a link below to help you find your nearest one) and ask them about how the Army can fund you through University. You could potentially do both!
Personally, I'd advise going as far as you can in education. The more qualified you are, the more options will open up to you throughout your career.

You could also look at the Queen Alexandras Royal Army Nursing Corps. The Army doesn't have midwives but it does need nurses and many nurses specialise. I have lots of civi friends now who joined the QARANC or the RAF equivalent, did their time and then left and specialised to become midwives so you could end up with best of both worlds one day. QAs is a great place as the army will pay you to be at uni for 3yrs, pay you a salary and your fees and accommodation! It really is one of the armys best hidden secrets! Good luck.
