I have been a supervisor for a few years and enjoy being about to run my own areas, and keeping on track of it all. I’d like to be an officer but I’m not sure if I have all the qualifications, due to me dropping out of school to start working full time. I have other qualifications not from school.
Hi Newlyn,
To become a British Army officer, candidates need to be between 17 years 9 months and 28 years old (or older for some specialist roles) and possess a minimum of 72 UCAS points, typically achieved through A-levels, or equivalent qualifications. They also need to pass a medical exam, security checks, and a two-part assessment that includes fitness and aptitude tests. Additionally, strong leadership skills, communication abilities, and physical fitness are essential.
I hope this helps.
