I would advise downloading the free 100% Armyfit app. This will give you a fitness programme and monitor your fitness progression.
It’s important to build up slowly so you don’t injure yourself. Army training is all about building individuals up from a low-level so you are not expected to be super human when you arrive.
The fitter you are when you start your training, the better you'll cope and the less stress you will put yourself under. You will likely find that people have different strengths; some will find running really easy but might find carrying weight difficult, others might be amazing swimmers but not so good on the assault course. Give everything a go during your training and find out what you’re good at, but also focus on the areas you are not so strong so that you can progress.
