My Closest Assesment Centre is Lichfield, Can I choose/ask to not take the train?

When you go to the Lichfield AC, The meeting point is the Train Station as they book you train tickets, It would take me 3 hours by train but only an hour and a half if I drive, can i ask to drive there instead? Saves a lot of time and allows me to be more prepared if I can.

    Hi Dominic,

i appreciate that driving would be a logical option. That being said, if everyone wasn't meeting at the exact same place it could prove to be a nightmare attempting to track where everyone is. Whilst in theory it works but you'd be surprised how many people are incapable of turning up on time if they were given the option. In addition, the Assessment centre isn't the largest of areas, so this limits the amount of parking available. Not to mention the extra security implications.

I understand this may not make too much sense right now but if you are successful at the AC and further basic training you will come to understand in time for sure. Theres a method to the madness, please just bare with.
