There are lots of dual serving couples in the military. Your boyfriend will know exactly what you're going though so will be able to give you the support, space and time that you might need. There may be issues in terms of getting posted / assigned together or near each other but it could be the same as you're potentially finding now. I hope this helps - everyone is different and ultimately if it's too much and too much pressure you could leave after 4 yrs by which time you would have gained loads of qualification and done some really different things that you might not otherwise have had the opportunity to do before .
