I found out by an ex-medical corps memeber that when you leave, your qualifications gained by service are not recognised by the nhs. I was wondering if this had changed and if i should become a general doctor before joining, so i have a cushion to fall back on if i think the army life isnt for me.
This would be dependant on the specific job role that you are looking at?
Im not to sure, I might go into being a combat medic but i am still looking at other medical roles. But right now I want to become a combat medic
For a CMT the role and qualifications are found on the army jobs website below just need GCSE grade C or 4-9
