Looking to join the Cyber Engineering role. Where would I be based or do you choose where to be based?

Hi Sam,
As a cyber engineer you would be based in one of Royal Signals units which are based all over the country. You will be able to submit a preference as to which unit and therefore where you will be based during your Phase 2 training prior to your employment in your first role as a fully trained soldier. -

Thank you for your answer. Is there anyway I can find out where the bases are? Also if I get my selected preference will I stay there perminantly or can that change?

As a soldier in the Royal Signals you move posting on average every 2-3 years. This may be in the same location or a new one, it all just depends on what is available. -
