James I. asked a question to Paratrooper R.
Afternoon, please could you provide me with where the reservist training is and for how long/structure of this training? Many thanks
Hi, the best people to talk to about Reserve training is your local Army Reserve unit. Most units would want you to visit them and attend a couple of drill nights then you can see whether you enjoy it prior to embarking on training. The Reserve training is modular in that you don't do all your training in one go but you will be expected to do a 2week full course (this could be at 1 of a few locations Scotland, North and South England) which needs to be taken into consideration if you have a job and factor this in with leave/holiday etc. I hope this helps. Definitely speak with your local unit. If you decide it's not for you, you've not lost anything but time. Good luck.
