Likelihood of career intermission?
Briefly read the document on the army website which reads Flexible working and you and mentions career intermission. Always planned to do 6 months of travelling with my partner in the future but I am wondering if anyone has been able to get a career intermission whilst serving?

Hi there, great question. I know of a number of people who have taken a career intermissions and returned to service. One of which went travelling as you are wanting to. The detail of how these are applied for and eligibility are not my specialism and they will be in the policy but thought it would be helpful to reassure you that career intermissions are indeed a thing.
