just wanted to know if a lot of people choose the dog handler role and if it will be hard to get a position
And I wanted to know if my 2 years studying animal care and the fact I own a German shepherd would help get me the position quicker thanks.

Yes there is currently a waiting list for the role as dog handler as it’s a very desirable trade.
The experience may help but as there is a such a long waiting list I’m not sure it will help much. The best option would be to go through the process of applying and attend your Army Brief at your local armed forces careers office and they will be able to tell you how long a wait etc there is
