Joining Reserves for specific role

Hi Claire, I'm interested in joining the reserves, preferably doing a role such as a Metalsmith / Mechanic / something similar. Is it likely I can specify this, and how does the process of assigning or requesting roles work? Thanks

Ede you can search for a local REME Reserve Centre and contact them to discuss the roles they have available or submit an application and a candidate support manager will contact you to discuss and assist in search. Becoming an Army Reservist - what happens when you apply?
