    Hi

After your Army Brief (AB) / face to face interview, your medical history will be requested from your GP. We must review your medical documents before inviting you to the Assessment Centre (AC).

Once the medical information has been received at the National Recruiting Centre (NRC) it typically takes 5-7 days for the paperwork to be processed and passed to the Medical Officer team - who will review your medical history. On average, reviews are 5-7 weeks. If your medical history is accepted then you will be offered an assessment date, this could be straight away or in a few weeks time. You should be offered a few dates; it's best to choose a date when you will feel confident and prepared before attending the Assessment Centre,

Remember to stay proactive during this point; keep working on your fitness to be prepared for the Assessment Centre, contact the NRC on 0345 600 8080 and, once your medical info has been received, they can check where it is in the process.

    I hope this helps.
