I've a suicide attempt on my medical record. I was denied online, is there still a chance for me now that I've moved on?

Hamsih M. asked a question to Dorian T.

My application was reject when I wrote down I had 2 suicide attempts. Despite moving on for almost 2 years I didn't even get to speak to a medical team and can't get past the online form. is it still possible to join?

Hello. Medical eligibility is determined by a team of medical specialists who assess a candidates medical history on a case by case basis. I am not part of the medical team but though my experience as a recruiter, if a candidate has had more that one instance of a recurring medical issue, both mental or physical, then it extremely unlikely that that candidate will be determined eligible. The Online Medical Questionnaire is designed to screen candidates with un-eligible medical issues. If you have had a result you feel is incorrect then you should have the detail on that response with how to appeal.
