The best place to start is to look at the entry standard for Sandhurst, and for the particular officer job you think you might want, and then work back from there. RMAS requires certain academic levels and certain cap badges will ask you to have additional qualifications to be eligible so getting the right grades is an important start.
Once you have got those under your belt, have a look at the Army Officer Selection Board page on the Army website and start preparing for selection. Fitness is always going to be important to an officer, but you will also need a grasp of current affairs, planning and numeracy and literacy.
Ultimately, everyone gets the same chance at AOSB, and it will be up to your performance as to whether you meet the standard but, with the right prep, anyone can achieve a place at Sandhurst.
