Is there any specific requirement to be an officer in Parachute Regiment or is just like any other regiment?

Great question. Simple answer is, you have to go through the same training as everyone else at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS), ultimately there will be more people than spaces who want to join and the Paras pick the best. The best isn't just about the fittest but about you as a person; your intelligence, your people skills, your own mental resilience etc etc.

Do they select after finishing training in Sandhurst or before training is over (during recruitment process)?
