Unfortunately your partner will not be able to stay with you at Sandhurst (RMAS) during your training.
One of the primary aims during training is to work as a team. This is not just achieved during the working day and a lot of the team building actually occurs after the working day is complete. You may find that you are struggling at a particular subject and someone in you platoon may be able to assist you in this. You will need to learn how to work with a diverse selection of people from many walks of life especially when training to lead them as an officer.
You will have stand down periods on completion of each term where you will be able to travel home to see family. There is also the opportunity to have some weekends off during training where you will be free to travel home.
On completion of training at RMAS, accommodation for married personnel is available.
