Is there a role for registered paramedics? And how much is the salary? Is it £42k same as equivalent nurses/AHP’s?

    Yes, army paramedic is role within a medical regiment you would join and train as a CMT (combat medic technician). They transport and treat casualties from the front line/ point of injure to higher levels of care in a safer location.


    That job is rank ranked from pte to Cpl with pay reflecting that. 26k-36k.

    Also note that you will skip a lot of training due to already being qualified in that field however some training will still be needed due to differences between civilian and military practices.

    Once you have passed your training if already qualified as a paramedic you will get the rank of corporal which helps reflect on pay scales.
