Is there a limit of rank you can reach before you stop getting a promotion? (EG do you stop ranking at sarjeant?)

    All job roles are the same within the ranking system however this would vary on specific when it comes to infantry for the RAVC which dog handlers come under the highest rank that can be reached as a soldier would be WO1 / RSM Regimental sergeant major. You do have the option to commission at a certain point in your career unless you already went the officer route with this you would not be able to be a dog handler and will become more of a management role. Of which you can usually reach the rank of major - colonel anything beyond that is classed as a staff job where you will work within headquarters and not within a unit.
