In recent years, has the likelihood of developing PTSD increased compared to previous decades? If so, what are the support the soldiers or any veteran is recieving?
While I can`t speak for the chances of developing PTSD, what I can say is that the Army has extremely good care and support systems in place for the mental health of it`s soldiers.
Hope this helps.
That's Nice to hear! Thank you for your service we all appreicate it!
What is the case here is that we have become better at recognising the symptoms and diagnosing issues like PTSD. It is not the case that more soldiers develop PTSD than in previous decades but rather that fewer soldiers who develop PTSD are diagnosed and left untreated.
