Is Logistics Specialist within the Royal Engineers the same as the ones in RLC?. If not how different are their roles?

Hi Sekiza,
The roles of logistics specialist in the RE, RLC and even the Royal Artillery who also have their own are all quite similar. The key difference is the type of equipment they are responsible for and also the level at which they operate. RE and RA logisticians usually operate at the tactical level within their units to deliver equipment and ammunition the their regiments to undertake the designated task. RLC Logistics specialist also work in this environment but also at a higher level dealing with the movement of equipment and supplies over long distances to keep the Army moving.
