Hello, the British Army has a specific pathway for 16 year old's to join the army with dedicated training and a training establishment. There are many serving soldiers who have had successful careers who joined the army at 16 so its not to soon but it does have to be something you want to do. Ultimately if you don't feel it is something you are ready for then I would advise you don't. I joined at 18 and I think that joining at 16 is a fantastic opportunity, that it would have been a better experience into the Army for me. Thanks. Please feel free to ask any other questions.
