Is it possible for me to join if I used to need an epi-pen but no longer need it as I have grown out of the allergy?

Sometimes this is possible but you would need to discuss with your doctor before hand. If you apply this will get picked up on your medical and will probably defer your application until you have a specialist allergy test. The Army only recognise certain providers for this test so its advised not to spend your own money if your are looking at going private until it is confirmed what is needed. The ultimate decision will still lay with the doctor that reviews your medical records. If you put in your application you will be told what is required.
