Is it possible become a gas engineer in the British army?

Hi there,
As far as I am aware, as part of the Royal Engineers trade courses, you would not get the gas engineer qualification as part of the the course. However there are opportunities to gain bespoke qualifications throughout your time in the Army. I know a number of people who have qualified as gas engineers using their Enhanced Learning Credits. In short yes but not as part of the standard trade training within the Royal Engineers.
