Hi, the army isn't a lonely place. You will always have people to talk to and who you will mutually support. During training you share a room with others and become quite close to them, once you are in your trade job (after training) you will work closely with individuals. The Army's tag line is 'find where you belong' - it's about belonging and there's people serving from all walks of life - it's like being at school; you'll never get on with everyone - some people are your friends, some are acquaintances and some you just don't really speak to because they're not 'your type of person'.
