    Jordon W. Combat Medical Technician

It is not to difficult to become a CMT providing you are willing to put in the work. You do not need any previous medical knowledge as everything will be taught to you from scratch. After your 14 week basic training (Adult entry) or longer if you are going to AFC Harrogate you will then complete 23 weeks training to become a CMT class 2.

You then do a years probationary period to enhance your skills and knowledge so you are ready for your class 1 course which is 6 weeks long once this is completed you are then able to work independently without supervision.
