Is it advisable, or even possible to join the Army reserves during a gap year, and then continue through university?

Hi, I'm 17, and going into Year 13, and dependent on how next year turns out, I'm looking to join the Army reserves (On that note, is the LCav an enjoyable role?) during my gap year, and then stay for the next four years during Uni. Following that, I'd leave and enlist in the Marines.

Good afternoon Matas you can apply for the Army Reserves once you reach 17 years and 9 months, and work part time or whilst studying as long as you complete the minimum days required find out more at the following link Life in the Army Reserve or speak to your local Reserve unit recruiting team for more information.
