for example, are you allowed to date other soldiers? or not?

You can date other soldiers but there are boundaries. I'm not 100% what they are..
You are free to date anyone outside the Army too.

Hi, you are absolutely allowed to date anyone. The boundaries that James mentions could be, as an example, as an officer i couldn't date someone directly in my chain of command, or if i did, i'd have to 'declare' it and either myself or the person i was dating might be moved to somewhere else. Obviously dating someone who's married etc would be a breach of the 'Service Test' too. But on the whole, you're welcome to date whoever you want!
