Is 39 too old to join? Im also 17 stone and my BMI is 34, im also on medication for anxiety and depression

    Hi there and thank you for your interest. For our regular soldiers the upper limit is 35 years old for entry but you can join the army reserve up until 42 years old. BMIs need to be below 30 for entry into the Army but Im sure you could achieve this with some work. With regards to any anxiety and depression, I cant offer specific advice unfortunately but our medical team do as part of the process when you apply.
