is 20/40 vision good for the military?
I want to join the british military and then 22 SAS, but my vision is sort of blurry because I'm a near-sighted person my vision is 20/40 when testing 1 eye at a time, but I can sort of near 20/30 with both of my eyes

This would be job or role specific which will depend as to if you can meet the requirements or not. Some roles will require you to achieve a certain standard even if corrected and some others will not.
