    Good Afternoon Joseph,

There will be times in life where we are all put in a position where we don't want to be. I use to be nervous about standing up and talking in front of people, however, the Army develops everyone in to a leader and this is something the Army will help you with. I use to get so nervous i would rush what i was saying, after 14 years in the Army i now do tv Interviews and radio speeches about Esports, this would never of happened without the Army pushing me out of my comfort zone.

Remember, to be the best version of yourself you cant stand still, you have to be forced out of your comfort zone so you can learn how to adapt to it.

    I hope this helps.

    Regards

    Matt

    Joseph,

This is a common fear and with the ever increasing use of social media, IT based working and working from home/remotely, people have lost the ability to communicate face to face.

like Matt says above, the Army is great at building confidence and leadership. Qualities that you will need as a soldier and ones that will set you apart in wider society later.
