In the cognitive BARB test do you get/are you allowed a pen and paper? I find the maths section hard to do in my head.

Hi, yes, you are given a pencil and some scrap paper to use whilst completing the online tests. Good luck with it. In the meantime perhaps look at online psychometric practice tests and BBC Bitesize is great for some maths prep.
