In the carpentry and joinery apprenticeship do you have to stay in the army after or just for the apprenticeship

    You work on your apprenticeship alongside your role, so it doesn't have an impact on your contract.


    Everyone who joins starts on a 12 year contract that you must serve at least 4 years of.


    If, after 3 years, you decide the Army isn't for you, you can sign off and leave at your 4 year point.
