    Hi Matthew,

If you are interested in a career as a reservist then you will get paid on a monthly basis from the number of days or drill nights you have completed with your unit. Most personnel have a full time job and the Army Reserve commitment fits alongside this. In order to qualify for your annual bounty, for most units, it is a 27 day commitment per year which breaks down into: 32 x Weekly drill nights; ¼ day = 8 days, 1 x Annual camp = 15 days; and 2 x Training Weekends (these are usually held monthly) = 4 days. The reality is that a lot of people do more than this!
